Algeria and Sporting front man Islam Slimani, was found not guilty of aggression by the Portuguese Football Association.
The FA started disciplinary proceedings against the striker, as it was said that he had assaulted Benfica defender, Andreas Samaris, during the Lisbon derby last November.
Slimani, currently on 22 goals, could have faced a suspension of two to ten matches. However Sporting can now be assured that their top scorer can continue aiding them towards the title race.
