The Algerian boxer Imane Khelif became a champion after earning a gold medal in the 66 kg at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Khelif overcame all the criticism and online bullying by beating the Chinese Yang Lia (5-0) in the final which took place on Friday evening at Roland-Garros Stadium in Paris.
It’s Algeria’s second gold medal at Paris 2024 Olympic Games after Kaylia Nemour became Olympic champion in the gymnastics uneven bars.
